If you follow me on Instagram then you probably remember that in April I attended Mario Dedivanovic’s Makeup Masterclass in London. There’s no way you’ve missed it, I posted like 100 Instagram stories. (Sorry if I’ve spammed you, I was excited and I couldn’t hide it!) I’ve been willing to go to one of his masterclasses but the both times he was in Dubai I couldn’t attend. For those of you who don’t know who Mario is, he’s Kim Kardashian’s (and family) makeup artist for the last 11 years.
Anyway, the event was worth the wait! I learned some new techniques like Kim’s favourite “baking”. Of course that I’ve heard about it and tried it before, but I’ve never been crazy about it. I just always thought that’s a bit too heavy for my taste (at least the way the YouTube bloggers are doing it). But seeing how flawless the model’s completion looked after Mario “baked” her skin I decided to give “face bake” another try. And to make it more fun I “baked” my face in front of the camera.
Usually I try to keep my videos within 3 minute but this time it was impossible so that one is 6 minute long. I hope you’ll find it interesting, I personally really liked it. It think it’s my favourite so far! Here’s a spoiler: I’ve baked half of my face and the other half I set the way I normally do. Then I went to the beach where it was 39 degrees to test the both techniques. Make sure to watch the video to find out what is baking makeup and is it worth the effort.
