ABH is Launching a New Palette and Beauty Bloggers aren't Happy!

Oh, wow! That's my second blog post for today. I don't remember writing two posts in one day 😊  I've been hearing from here and there that Anastasia Beverly Hills is launching another eyeshadow palette called Subculture. Officially the brand said that the product is going to be available in the stores from 15th of August, but some bloggers already have the palette and the reviews aren't great.

This morning I first saw the video of Makeup by Shayla and then the one by Alissa Ashley and both of them were very disappointed by the quality of the product. Apparently the eyeshadows are too powdery and very hard to apply and blend. I will share the videos here so you can watch them yourself if you want. The reason why I wanted to talk about it on my blog is because I've noticed that a lot of people rush to buy NEW products and I believe that's because brands heavily advertise their new launches and sometimes they even give fancy names just so we can think this is a new invention (like it happened with the contouring and the strobing - both makeup techniques that have been there forever, but were advertised to the costumers like something new and necessary). Anyway, what I really want to say with this post is - new product doesn't mean better product. Think twice when buying and spend your money wisely. 😉

P.S. Only because these bloggers didn't like the palette it doesn't mean that you won't like it and it doesn't mean that Anastasia Beverly Hills isn't a good brand! I have many of their products, which are great and I am pretty sure that they will most probably cancel the launch of the eyeshadow palette or change the formula of the product. One thing that made me really happy is that there're still bloggers out there that tell their honest opinion.
