Ladies always complain to me that they don’t know how to remove their makeup properly (especially waterproof mascara and eyeliner) and what products to use. The truth is that using the right products is very important. If the product isn’t good it can even hurt your skin or eyes. Once I made the mistake to buy some facial milk by a brand I can’t remember which was supposed to remove makeup, but it wasn’t doing anything and I was rubbing and rubbing until my skin got red skin and painful. Never again! I’d rather spend more money on something good than using products that simply do not work! Thank God, nowadays there are many good drugstore products at affordable prices. I usually always use two products to remove my makeup - oily makeup remover for the eyes and micellar water for the face (click here to see which product I use to remove my face makeup.)
In my opinion the oil based removers are the best for the eye makeup, they get rid even of the waterproof mascara and eyeliner way better and quicker than the other products. You can easily recognise them because they are usually in a transparent package and the liquid is half blue, half transparent. Many of the brands have oil based eye makeup remover and most of them are good but price obviously varies. I’ve been using this eye makeup remover by Sephora for so many years and absolutely love it. Actually, if you go to Sephora and ask for an eye makeup remover I am pretty sure they will suggest you this one, because even all the beauty consultants working there use it themselves. It’s very simple product, all you have to do is shake it before use, apply it on a cotton pad and clean your eye makeup. The 200 ml bottle that it's on the picture costs 54 AED, but they are two other sizes available as well - 125 ml for 34 AED and 50 ml, which is great for travelling for 18 AED (price may vary in different countries). You can buy it from sephora.ae or any Sephora store around the world.
In this video I speak about the Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover and as well I recommend other products by Sephora the brand. This is actually one of my first videos and I don't really like it lol but it might be helpful that's why I am sharing it.
P.S. That's the drugstore micellar water that I use to remove my face makeup. Click on the picture to read the full review. :)
