Rimmel Stay Matte Primer Review

*Please note: As I was writhing this post I googled the product to find out the price of it and I found out that it's discontinued! :( I am so disappointed, why do brands discontinue best selling products! I once bought a great lipstick by Bourjois and when I went back in the store after only couple of weeks to buy more colours I was shocked to find out it was discontinued and completely removed off the shelves! I couldn't find it in any other store neither.. However, I am gonna post my review anyway because sometimes brands decide to bring back the discontinued products.

Rommel Stay Matte Primer

If you have oily or combination to oily skin then you probably know the struggle very well! When you apply your foundation and the setting powder everything is great but only after few hours your face looks greasy and you can notice that your complexion looks patchy. Uff I hate that feeling!

I have combination to oily skin which means that my T-zone is oily and the rest of the face is normal but during the Dubai summer (temperature is around 45 degree) my complete face gets extremely greasy. There are couple of things you can do if you want to make your face look matte or at least less oily lol. One of them is to apply primer after the moisturiser but before the foundation. It can be applied all over the face or just on certain areas, that is completely up to you. You can use brush, sponge or hands for the application, I personally like to apply the moisturiser and the primer with fingers. There are plenty primers for oily skin on the market and the only way to find out which one suits your skin best is to try them. I personally love this one by Rimmel London. For me it is by far the best primer for oily skin I have used. It's affordable as well and doesn't dry the skin like most of the primers for oily skin.
