Our Getaway at Hilton Al Hamra Beach & Golf Resort

Couple of weeks ago me, my husband and our friends knowing that the Martyrs' Day and the UAE National Day are coming soon, decided to organise a short getaway. We picked Hilton Al Hamra Beach & Golf Resort which is located about 15 min drive from Ras al Khaimah and about an hour from Dubai.

Well.. you know me... I had to take a selfie :))

We went there on Wednesday before 12 pm and was really happy when they told us that our rooms are ready! We mentioned in the booking that we would love to have an early check in because we didn't want to waste the day. On the arrival we were welcomed with cute tiny glasses of ice tea which was so tasty by the way! I think it was green tea with lemon and ice (yummy!).

After we checked in and had few glasses of the refreshing beverage we headed to our room on the second floor where we found this adorable elephant made from towels and a welcome message from our housekeeper Raymond. :)

The room was just perfect! It was very bright, clean with new furniture and a large balcony. We had garden view and a little bit ocean view. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the room (ops!) but I have few pictures of the beautiful view. Oh, and by the way all the bath care products are by Peter Thomas Roth (a favourite brand) which was a great surprise to me because usually I have noticed that most of the hotels' supplies are not that good.

One thing that I really really enjoyed was the breakfast! Actually, few days before the vacation me and my husband checked the reviews in Booking.com, most of them are positive but there is a negative one about the breakfast which made us think that we won't be happy with it and we will probably go in Al Hamra mall for breakfast (which is only few minutes away btw - very convenient). However, I still don't understand why would someone write a bad review about that breakfast because all of us though that it's very tasty! Talking about food, we tried two other restaurants in the resort - the Lebanese restaurant Al Jazeera and the one on the beach (I am sorry I forgot the name of it) and the food there was delicious as well.

Fresh pancakes! I posted that picture on my InstaStories.

If you are a beach and pool lover like me, then you would definitely like it there! The hotel has two pools and each of them has children area. The private beach is right in front of hotel too. Don't ask me about the golf areas though, I have never played golf in my life lol.

Least but not last I have to mention that the staff of the hotel were very polite, kind and helpful and made our stay there pleasant and delightful. It does make a huge difference when people treats you well, doesn't it? :)

Definitely a place I would recommend to my friends and family and would love to visit again!
