At the end of October two of my best friends from Bulgaria visited me and of course I had a list of things to do and see in Dubai. One of the days we went for a dinner in Shimmer, if you don’t know it, it’s a great Greek restaurant on the beach of Medinat Jumeirah (I will write a post about it as well). My friends absolutely loved the area and wanted us to go back there for afternoon tea the next day. After having a quick look at Trip Advisor, we decided to book a table at Feyrooz Lounge in the amazing Al Qasr hotel.
One of the reasons why we picked exactly this place was the breathtaking view of Burj Al Arab and the private beach of Medinat Jumeirah. Ahh, if you only knew the amount of selfies that we took that day lol however, we were not the only ones, I think almost everybody who was having food or drinks in the lounge stood up at least for one picture with the gorgeous building!
As a foodie and a huge lover of sweets and tea I felt in heaven there. The food was literally endless and so tasty! In the month of October the management raised Breast Cancer awareness by decorating some of the pastries in pink.
The afternoon tea (or the high tea as they call it here) is from 2 pm to 6 pm and it costs 225 AED. If you have the Entertainer Dubai you can enjoy afternoon tea for two people for the price of one. If it isn't too warm I recommend you to book a table on the terrace where you can enjoy the magnificent view and the ocean breeze.
